Privacy Policy

Summary

SetWise is designed to keep your workout, program, and recovery information on your device. The app does not require an account, does not use advertising, and does not use in-app analytics or tracking tools.

SetWise does not operate a server that receives your workout history, recovery estimates, programs, or set logs.

Information stored in the app

SetWise stores the information you create locally on your device. This can include programs, exercises, planned and completed sets, workout history, notes, recovery estimates, progress summaries, muscle distribution, settings, notification preferences, widget snapshots, and export files.

This information is used inside the app to show your plan, active workout, history, reports, widgets, and recovery context.

Purchases

SetWise Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. SetWise does not receive or store your payment information.

Apple may process purchase information according to its own privacy policy and App Store terms.

Exercise guide media

When you open an exercise guide while online, SetWise may request the matching demonstration media from SetWise's website. The media can be cached locally after it loads.

The request is limited to serving the media. Your workout records, recovery data, and program details are not sent with it. Hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request data such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, and request time for delivery and security.

Hevy CSV import

Hevy CSV import begins with a local CSV file that you choose. Import processing happens on-device; SetWise does not require a Hevy login and does not use Hevy OAuth, an API connection, or scraping.

SetWise does not retain the source CSV after the import flow. Imported workout information is stored locally in SetWise like other workout data.

Exports and sharing

SetWise can create a local export when you choose to export data in Settings. SetWise Pro can also create local recap images and monthly report summaries when you choose Share. You decide whether and where to share them.

If you share an export, recap, or report through Mail, Messages, Files, cloud storage, or another app, that destination handles the shared copy under its own policies.

Notifications and widgets

SetWise can schedule local notifications only if you grant notification permission. Delivery timing is determined by iOS.

Widgets use a lightweight local snapshot to show workout or recovery context outside the main app. They can be stale until iOS or the app refreshes them.

Deletion and retention

You can delete local app data from Settings or delete SetWise from your device. Copies in device backups, manually exported files, or destinations you shared to are controlled by those locations.

Support messages are used only to respond to your request. Do not include sensitive personal, medical, or workout information unless it is necessary to resolve the issue.

Website privacy

This website provides product information, support, legal pages, exercise media, and download links. It does not intentionally use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels.

The website host may process standard technical request information to serve pages, secure the service, and maintain operations.

SetWise provides training context from workout information you enter. Recovery estimates are not medical advice, do not diagnose injury or illness, and do not guarantee readiness, performance, or injury prevention.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when SetWise changes how it handles information or adds features that affect privacy. The effective date will be updated when a material change is made.
